Halovine is the patron Goddess of women and their self-reliance.  Of this Goddess, the least is known.  What is thought to be true is based on speculation and hearsay.  It is known that she has only participated with the other gods when it directly concerns the welfare of all women.  Though she has worked alongside Krar many times and shares his love of the blade, she is too independent to be his bride.  She does not care for the hearth, or family only honor and strength of character.  This does not mean she is callous nor against such things as family and children, simply that they are not her path.  She is known as the Lady of Mysteries, and the Two Edged Sword.  When a woman speaks sharply, it is said that she speaks with the tongue of Halovine.

            When Krar brought down the secrets of steel and blade to the mortals of Kinthur.  Halovine saw that Men’s greed kept it from the hands of women, so she in turn made sure that the blade and steel found their way into Woman’s hand.  It is through the direct action of this goddess that Kinthur has little sexual discrimination.  Though many communities and cultures divide their labors among the sexes, no intelligent being would bar a woman from a path she chose to take.
